The California Department of Public Health issued a health advisory regarding an outbreak of infant botulism associated with Nara Organic whole milk infant powder formula. This infant formula is found online and at Target retail stores. Parents, caregivers and guardians should discontinue use of this formula immediately. ☀️This summer, bright-eyed high school students interested in medical careers will shadow us in the office. The students are part of @lapediatricsoc Eve and Gene Black Summer Medical Program.
🫶We are honored to show them the joys of community pediatrics.
🤩 They will also learn about the challenges we all face (families and medical professionals) as it pertains to health insurance. These students are the future faces of medicine and I can only hope they participate in fixing what’s broken. 🙏
