☀️This summer, bright-eyed high school students interested in medical careers will shadow us in the office. The students are part of @lapediatricsoc Eve and Gene Black Summer Medical Program.
🫶We are honored to show them the joys of community pediatrics.
🤩 They will also learn about the challenges we all face (families and medical professionals) as it pertains to health insurance. These students are the future faces of medicine and I can only hope they participate in fixing what’s broken. 🙏
Today we had our raffle for the fundraiser we held for a family in our practice who lost their home to a fire. Thank you to every one of you who donated and participated.
Attending medical conferences as a pediatrician keeps me up-to-date and this directly benefits my patients. I love when I can mix work with family time and leisure. The Los Angeles Pediatric Society hosts their annual Brennaman lectures at the Disneyland resort in Anaheim, California. It’s always a great weekend when you combine knowledge, growth, family, and fun.
